Mercedes Airbag system ( SRS ).

The HfmScan program reads the airbag system (SRS), and only the errors of the SRS control unit are accessible through the K-Line adapter (USB KKL), and both reading and removing SRS errors are available through the ELM327 hfmscan adapter.

To extinguish the SRS warning lamp, you must repair the fault and then clear the errors. As long as you do not delete the error, SRS light will illuminate.

Typical situation - when removing the steering wheel, for forgetfulness the ignition is turned on, the SRS unit fixes the error on the pillow and the SRS lamp is constantly on. It is necessary to clear the SRS fault memory.

Warning!

Cable OBD2 - mb38 is not suitable for reading SRS.
You will need to solder the wire from pin 4 (engine) to pin 30 (SRS) in part 38 or connect the 3 wire adapter to the Mercedes diagnostic connector.
